Massage for the elderly

Massage for older people

iStock_000001763829SmallAs we get older many people suffer from stiff painful joints and feel less mobile and flexible.  Over time, our bodies suffer a little wear and tear and mostly we carry on until it gets unmanageable.  Good nutrition and being active is important all through our lives but, at times, we need a little more help.

Massage helps by relaxing muscles thereby improving the circulation, which in turn relieves stiffness and inflexibility, bringing psychological and physical benefits.

Massage can be done sitting or laying whichever is more comfortable.
